Out of the Mouthes of Babes – Clouds

“Mummy, what are clouds made of?”raindrops

Cue for small science lesson about water droplets clinging together until they get heavy and then they fall as rain.

“Don’t be silly Mummy, they’re fluffy balls!”

“Of course they are, how silly of me!”

“I’d like to be a cloud.”

“Why’s that?”

“Because then I could fly around the world.”

“That sounds nice.”

“I wish you were a cloud too, so then you could come with me.”

“Even better.”

“And do you know what lightning is?”

“No.”

“It’s the clouds wee.”

“And the thunder?”

“Well that would be their bottoms exploding!”

“Why didn’t I think of that!”
