Out of the Mouthes of Babes – Clouds

“Mummy, what are clouds made of?”raindrops

Cue for small science lesson about water droplets clinging together until they get heavy and then they fall as rain.

“Don’t be silly Mummy, they’re fluffy balls!”

“Of course they are, how silly of me!”

“I’d like to be a cloud.”

“Why’s that?”

“Because then I could fly around the world.”

“That sounds nice.”

“I wish you were a cloud too, so then you could come with me.”

“Even better.”

“And do you know what lightning is?”

“No.”

“It’s the clouds wee.”

“And the thunder?”

“Well that would be their bottoms exploding!”

“Why didn’t I think of that!”

Love Is … Like a Series of Tests

Where each one tests your trust and faith, sometimes to the limit.

Who thought tests ended when you left education?

It seems that life and love is one big series of trials and tests.

Some we win, some we lose.

But win or lose, each test we encounter on our travels we learn, about ourselves and others.

It might hurt, feel like you don’t know what to do, how to react, etc, but I believe as long as we have, and hold onto, faith and trust, we can sail through any test with flying colours 😉
